As a finance professional and trainer from India, Makarand has more than 24 years of work experience, including 8 years in the field of equity research and 16 years in corporate and academic training including preparing candidates for CFA program.
Makarand has conducted trainings and conducted research in diverse areas of finance with focus on capital markets, investments and risk management.
He holds CFA charter since 2009, and has also completed Certificate in Quantitative Finance from CQF Institute, UK and Part I and Part II of FRM Certification from GARP Institute. Worked for more than 4 years for IIFI, UAE in training UAE nationals and employees of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority for CFA Levels I and II. He is engaged in delivering training courses to management graduates for programs in India, UAE, Singapore and Australia.
